Welcome!

I'm Esther Briz Zamorano. I was born and raised in Zaragoza (Spain) and moved to Stanford University (California) for college, where I studied whilst racing for the rowing team. Four years later, right after I graduated with a degree in Management Science and Engineering I went back to Spain to pursue the qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In August 2024 I earned an Olympic Diploma.

My number one passion is constant learning, and I try my hardest to bring this passion to everything I do, whether it is on the water, in the classroom, or as a world citizen. When a challenge arises I am confident that I will be able to tackle it full force. I'm ready for whatever comes my way.
Decide|Commit|Succeed
Two opportunities where I embraced this:
-
Decided I was going to do a 10-week internship with Amazon and race at europeans, that were to be held two weeks afterwards

-
Committed to a full-time job (40-45h/wk) while working out completely alone for 10 weeks

-
Succeed: finished the internship, learned substantially, earned a 4th position at European u23 championships, coastal rowing world champion
-
Decided I was going to go to the USA to study in college at the beginning of my senior year in high school

-
Committed to prepare exams and applications independently on a time crunch while following a normal practice schedule

-
Succeed: got into Stanford, won a gold medal at the European rowing junior championships a couple of months later
